The Port of Hood River (“Port”) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for Fixed Base Operator (“FBO”) services at the Ken Jernstedt Airfield(“AIRFIELD”). Full RFQ can be found at www.portofhoodriver.com/ Ken Jernstedt Airfield is located in Hood River County Oregon, with a population of 24,000. It has an active tail wheel and glider operations fueled by the local aviation tech industry. The Western Antique Aeronautical and Auto Museum is adjacent to the airport and draws over 40,000 visitors per year. The selected FBO will be expected to apply a proactive business plan and approach to provide needed operations at the Airfield. The anticipated FBO agreement term will be for five years. The Port requires that the FBO provide basic FBO services , however, the Port is open to an alternative FBO structure which may require more, less or a different suite of services.

The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District owns and operates the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) in Upstate South Carolina. The District seeks through this Request for Proposal Competitive Proposals from Highly Qualified and Responsive Vendors of Cash-to- Card Kiosks. The District’s goal is to enter into a non-exclusive agreement to provide turnkey Cash-to-Card Kiosks to the traveling public capable of accepting cash and dispensing an anonymous, instant issue Visa or MasterCard at designated locations within the Airport Terminal and both Parking Garage A and B. The District has received requests from our airline partners for these Kiosks, so that they can go cashless at all of the ticket counters. In addition, the District went cashless for all parking facilities and that began in July 2020. Therefore, there is a need to provide these Kiosks to assist the traveling public with making cashless payments for airline and parking related services at the Airport.

Brazil: Santos Dumont Airport Safety Assessment and Improvement Plan Technical Assistance (USTDA): SAC invites submission of qualifications and proposal data from interested U.S. firms that are qualified on the basis of experience and capability to execute Technical Assistance (TA) for the Santos Dumont Airport Safety Assessment and Improvement Plan. Santos Dumont Airport (SDU) is operated by the parastatal Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (Infraero). In mid-2022, SAC intends to publish a tender for the concession of SDU, whereby SAC would grant a concession to an operator for a period of 30 years. It is anticipated that the tender would be awarded in late 2022, and the selected concessionaire would replace Infraero as the operator of the airport. Submittal deadline is Feb. 4, 2021.
