Air Belgium to Launch First Service April 16

New Belgian airline, Air Belgium, will begin ticket sales April 3 for flights set to launch April 16. Initial flights will serve Hong Kong from the carrier’s base at Brussels South Charleroi Airport. Later Air Belgium will fly to mainland China.

The first month of the current year appeared impressive for American fliers as far as punctuality is concerned. According to the Air Travel Consumer Report unveiled by the U.S. Department of Transportation for January, most U.S. carriers were more punctual in reaching their destinations compared with the year-ago figure. Moreover, the findings suggest that fliers were pleased as the number of complaints decreased during the month on a year-over-year basis.

Hong Kong Airlines: Bringing the Best of East and West to SFO

On March 25, 2018, Hong Kong Airlines introduced a new 4x weekly service from Hong Kong to San Francisco using their brand-new Airbus A350-900. Flight HX061 takes off from San Francisco at 12:30 p.m. and arrives at 5:35 p.m. the following day. The return, flight HX062, takes off in Hong Kong at 1:10 p.m. and arrives in San Francisco at 10:45 a.m.
