Kuwaiti hybrid carrier Jazeera Airways reported a KD2.3 million ($7.6 million) net profit for the 2017 second quarter, an 18.1% improvement over its KD1.9 million net profit in 2Q 2016. The result was driven by a 9.5% rise in revenue to KD14 million, which Jazeera management attributed to higher utilization, better network planning and increased passenger demand.
