AIRPORT ENGINEER, ASSOCIATE
This is a Project Manager position that requires knowledge of airfields and construction. Ensures assigned projects are properly planned, designed, and implemented in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Aviation and City of Atlanta. Responsible for the leadership of a project from initiation to completion by providing coordination, review, approval, bidding, construction oversight, and closeout of all assigned projects. Responsible for ensuring the Department of Aviation structural design and pertinent local and federal standard practices are performed and maintained in accordance to state and federal regulations. This is an experienced, professional level capable of carrying out most assignments typical of the profession with limited guidance or review. This level would be considered a promotional level and attainable by any incumbents in a work group who possess the required qualifications and demonstrate the necessary knowledge, ability, and performance.
SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
General Description and Classification Standards This is a Senior Structural Engineering position that functions as one member of a group of multi-discipline principals. Provide Structural Engineering review of all development projects proposed for construction on the airport. Review designs for compliance with applicable Federal and State standards, and with DOA Design Guidelines and Standards where appropriate. This individual will serve in the role of Design Manager when so assigned by the Engineering Director. This role provides key review and oversight for specific projects, when the design is performed by outside consultants.
REGIONAL MANAGER AIRPORT STRATEGY & AFFAIRS - FRONTIER AIRLINES
Frontier Airlines is seeking a Regional Manager Airport Strategy & Affairs to represent Frontier Airlines in its business with airport operators, landlords and other air carriers relative to airport development, real estate and facilities projects throughout the assigned portfolio. This position will support Frontier’s operational strategy by negotiating and administering required leases /agreements and make certain operating facilities are adequate for Frontier’s operation and in accordance to company standards. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Finance, Legal or Business related, or equivalent experience. SPACEPORT GROUND SAFETY OFFICER
The Spaceport Ground Safety Officer (GSO) leads the safety program during launch preparation and operations and is responsible for all aspects of ground safety. The GSO develops, implements, monitors and manages safety programs, policies and procedures to ensure the company complies with all regulations, site requirements, and best practices during any deployed operation. The GSO is responsible for maintaining a safe range by reviewing and/or controlling access to hazardous areas, and monitoring surveillance radar and monitoring closed circuit television cameras to maintain positive control over the launch area. This includes approving all launch vehicle procedures considered to be hazardous, such as motor lifting or ground handling operations, ordnance checkout and installation, or any electrical items relating to firing circuits, squibs or explosive devices. During a launch campaign, the GSO provides advisories to the Range Control Officer and mission team on safety issues that will affect the launch complex.
CENTRAL WISCONSIN AIRPORT OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - WEEKEND
This supervisory employee develops, recommends, implements, monitors, and improves the weekend and sustained operation of the Central Wisconsin Airport. The Operations & Maintenance Supervisor is the highest level airport official regularly scheduled on weekends. This person must have the ability and experience to make the right decisions in the best interest of the airport. Regular hours of Work: Thursday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) is a regional, non-hub, Part 139 certificated airport located in Mosinee, WI, between the cities of Stevens Point and Wausau. The airport is owned by Marathon and Portage Counties and is governed by the Central Wisconsin Joint Airport Board.
