The Airport Facilities Manager supervises and performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance of the DAA buildings, grounds and traffic areas. The Airport Facilities Manager plans, evaluates and performs property management. They also provide regular input to the Director of Operations on operational issues, equipment, security and safety matters. This position will also supervise assigned staff, contract employees and perform other job related duties. Job requirements consist of a high school diploma, knowledge of equipment used in building maintenance, information technology troubleshooting, supervisory skills and abilities, strong interpersonal skills, computer proficiency for reports, record maintenance and snow removal experience. DIRECTOR, AIRPORT OPERATIONS
General Description: Effectively directs, manages, supervisors and coordinates the programs and activities of the Airport Operations division. Develops and oversees the day-to-day execution of assigned work plan, strategic planning, budget, staffing and performance output. Creates and oversees the division’s goals and deliverables. Maintains complete accountability for performance objectives to ensure full compliance with regulatory, CODE and SOP requirements. Supervision Received: With limited supervision, this position works independently and attends regular meetings with senior leadership, airport stakeholders and government agencies. Direction received focuses on strategic objectives and is typically collaborative in nature. This position recommends policy and would be considered “upper-middle” management.
DIRECTOR OF AIRPORT PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT
Director of Airport Planning & Development The salary for this position is $109,600 - $182,600 This position will expire on September 5, 2019 General Description and Classification Standards The proponent will effectively manage a staff comprised of Department of Aviation and on-call planning and on-call environmental consultant staff to oversee all airport planning and environmental compliance initiatives. The individual provides day-to-day guidance to staff members on project-related issues as well as addresses administrative management functions (i.e., approvals for travel requests, leave requests, etc.) This is the highest level of strategic and/or operations management reporting to a top department executive or a department deputy. This is NOT a routine promotional level and the specific justification for classification at this level must be documented.

The Duluth Airport Authority (DAA) desires a highly qualified candidate to fill the Operations Director position in Duluth, MN. Position is full-time, requiring airport operations education and experience. Position is responsible for leading and overseeing day to day operations and maintenance activities at both the Duluth International and Sky Harbor Airports. Individual is responsible for short and long term operation, maintenance and capital planning and will act as the liaison to airlines government agencies, City of Duluth, tenants, contractors and DAA departments. Responsible for airport compliance programs including FAR Part 139 and CFR 49 Part 1542.209. AIRPORT CREDENTIALING SUPERVISOR
Supervises, manages, plans and oversees various security credentialing duties related to airport access control requirements and maintains regulatory compliance with the Boise Airport Security Program. Administers and monitors the airport's access media program, audit program, Family and Friends Assistance Support Plan, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) program, Authorized Signatory and Trusted Agent Programs, and various other programs. Monitors and enforces TSA 49 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR), Part 1542, Airport Security regulations and Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139. Work requires considerable independence and is performed under general direction.
