The Position The Assistant Airport Manager is a professional job classification primarily responsible for assisting management in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of County-operated airports. Under direction of the Airport Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties: •Plan, organize and supervise airside and landside operations •Inspect airside and landside facilities •Provide airport construction oversight •Issue NOTAMs •Ensure FAA Part 139 compliance •Coordinate special events •Enforce environmental regulations •Mitigate wildlife hazards and respond to emergencies.
ASSISTANT AIRPORT SUPERINTENDENT V (LIHUE, KAUAI)
The Assistant Airport Superintendent V is responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of all areas of Lihue Airport by inspecting airport facilities to ensure compliance with Federal, State and City regulations and requirements; enforces safety operating rules, regulations and procedures; liaison in dealing with airline personnel, concessionaires, the general public and other government officials; and serves as a regular relief and representative of the Airports District Manager II.
AIRPORT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Airport Maintenance Technicians at Williston Basin International Airport are responsible for the overall maintenance of airport facilities, equipment, and airfield grounds. This position assists the Operations Department in maintaining airport compliance with all applicable statutes, regulations and requirements. Maintenance technicians will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all airport users and assisting airport stakeholders.
AIRPORT OPERATIONS OFFICER
Under the direct supervision of Operations Supervisors, Airport Operations Officers at Williston Basin International Airport are responsible for assisting in the overall operation of airside, landside, and terminal areas on an assigned shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position ensures compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 77 and 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542, and all other applicable statutes, regulations, and requirements and occasionally performs ARFF duties. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all airport users.
