The City of Newport, Oregon, has issued a request for proposals for the operation of Newport Municipal Airport through an agreement with the City of Newport. The agreement may include all general maintenance activities, fixed base operations, and customer services, and development services at the airport. The County of Schenectady, N.Y., will accept qualifications from airport engineering consultants to provide planning, design, and construction administration services for future projects over a five-year term (RFQ-45-2015). Schenectady County Airport participates in the FAA Airport Improvement Program and the New York State DOT Grant Program. Schenectady County Airport, a county-owned general aviation airport, is located three miles north of Schenectady and consists of three asphalt runways and approximately 100 based aircraft. The estimated total construction value of the projects over the next five years is $16 million. The City of Chicago, through its department of aviation, invites proposals by qualified businesses to lease, design, finance, construct, manage, and operate food and beverage, news/convenience, specialty retail, personal services, automated vending, and duty free concessions, concession support facilities, and other public amenities at Chicago Midway International Airport.
