Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking an experienced civil engineer for its Sacramento, Calif., office. Responsibilities include designing and drafting construction documents for aviation projects; overseeing staff for quantity takeoffs, grading calculations, vertical profile designs and developing details; supervising less experienced staff on construction observation tasks; and reading, understanding and interpreting FAA Advisory Circulars for less experienced staff to perform design tasks. The Missoula County (Mont.) Airport Authority is soliciting statements of interest and qualifications for bond counsel services to be provided to the authority. The authority currently plans to finance upcoming capital projects and will require bond counsel to assure that debt documents are in the best interest of the authority. Other general questions and issues concerning financing will be encompassed in the contract granted under this request. The City of Phoenix Aviation Department anticipates issuing a revenue contract solicitation (RCS) for taxicab services at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) in mid-summer of 2016. This is the fifth meeting Aviation is conducting to provide an overview of the RCS process for interested business entities. The City of Santa Barbara (Calif.) is requesting statements of qualifications from engineering firms to provide engineering design and services during construction for rehabilitation of Runway 7-25 at Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA). Runway 7-25, a 6,052-foot-long by 150-foot-wide asphalt concrete runway, has not had any major maintenance in the last 10 years and is in need of rehabilitation. It is expected that the rehabilitation will include crack sealing, minor repairs, a variable depth grind and overlay, grooving and pavement markings.
